Thee iAM Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, registered within the state of South Carolina. Thee iAM Foundation’s vision is to bring emphasis to our youth. We aim to give each young person we come in contact with, regardless of their background, race, or religion, reassurance that their future is bright and they have the capability to reach their full potential. Determined to uphold the rich legacy of the Late Reverend Abraham B. Nelson and First Lady Marian C. Nelson, their granddaughter, Amber Nelson decided to craft a dream into reality. Upon the passing of Reverend Nelson in June 2015, Amber laid out the blueprint for Thee iAM Foundation. Amber recalls growing up in Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Pawleys Island, SC, and her grandfather emphasizing that today’s youth are the church of tomorrow. With his powerful influence on the youth within the church and the community, the dream wasn’t destined to fade.
